Be Clean is a popular pure botanical skin and bodycare shop located in Washington DC. Neighborhood Retail Group enlisted us to created a promotional brochure for them. Their shop provides crafted products by independent makers across the US.
We were honored to be asked again to design a concert poster for the Charles City Community Chamber Orchestra. This poster composition was inspired by the music for the concert; composers such as Faure, Ravel, Bizet, and Chopin. Beautiful and passionate music.
It was fun to develop a design using elements of art nouveau which we rarely get to use in our designs. To stay with the branding we developed for this orchestra, we simplified the design and chose to not create the typically intricate and ornate textures that were common in that era.
Staying consistant with the other posters we designed, we opted to use the Art Deco inspired Bandoengsche for the font. Designed by the talented team at Studio Formika.
If you haven’t heard Gabriel Faure’s Pavane, Opus 50 – you must listen to it. Put on some headphones, close your eyes and be transported to another place and time, yet somehow still familiar. It is joyful with a tinge of sadness, passionate yet delicate. It will touch your soul.
Studio K of Long Beach approached us to update their current logo and develop their brand. We modified their color scheme to reflect a stronger more vibrant palette and updated the look of their website to something more modern, clean and ‘sexy’. We carried the brand through their collateral materials as well.
Freshly cut logo approved by the client: Sushi Gakyu
With an amazing sushi chef at the helm, this place is poised to be a very popular sushi bar in the heart of Washington DC.
The 3rd & Mass project was developed for Neighborhood Retail Group to showcase one of their premier properties. We established a logo and design to develop a feel for the property visually. Within the promotional magazine were suggested ‘mock’ logos to portray possible retail establishments that would fit within the building.
We designed this magazine for Neighborhood Retail Group. It was developed for a larger property that they wanted to provide an extra promo piece to compliment their other efforts. We created the promotional magazine and designed the property logo for the piece. Custom map graphics were also incorporated into the printed project.
